is there any body have idea how to make the daytime running light to a jdm or usdm prelude . canadian prelude comes with the daytime running light just want to know how that work and what i have to get to install one on 92 usdm or jdm . wiring digram

 

what? do you want drl's or do you have them and want to disable it? proper english would help.

 

From the last sentence you can tell he wants to put them on his Prelude that does not have DRL. Anyway, there are several guides on how to add tehm to Civics, so you could probably adapt one of them

 

I wanted to do this same thing, BUT it looks like too much work and I am not cracking open my JDM headlights.

 

there was a thread i found a while back where someone fabbed his non working turning light into a DRL. I cant find it ne more. ill try to keep searching.

 

My SR-V has a DRL dummie light in the dash which lights up when the DRL's are not on.

The DRL's turn on when the parking brake is released for the first time after the car is turned on, and stays on untill turned off or the headlights are turned on.

From that you should gather that there is a switch in the parking brake you would need as well as all the relays, wires, headlight bulbs, dash lights.... on and on and I personally think that look too much like the Cavaliers DRL's to mess with. Here's a pic.

 

i made my own with an "Insight Daytime Running Light Module" that i bought off ebay a while back, a relay, some yellow h1's, and some wiring.
