Default dc5-r vs dc2-r

do you guys think that the gearing of the dc5-r on a b18c-r will make a big difference and actually make the car faster?

if so, is there a way to actually match the gearing of the dc5?

maybe with that kit from Mardi Gras that gets rid of reverse for another forward gear.
