how do i clean the throttle body with the carb cleaner

Default how do i clean the throttle body with the carb cleaner

can i take out the map sensors and clean them too or clean the area under the map sensors so it can stop any map sensor clog

ya you can take the map sensor off and spray in the hole.. blow it out before you put back.. break the screw with a needle nose visegrip they are easy to strip. don;t use carb cleaner.. use throttle body cleaner.. if it was the same it would be called carb/throttle body cleaner!

might also be an idea to remove the valve cover to intake pipe to stop this oil crap getting in your throttle?

thanks but there is also a plug behind the throttle body should i do that one as well and what is that plug called

first spray the t/b cleaner in the throttle, get an old toothbrush, open the throttle and scrub inside and on the throttle plate aswell, then once done that, start the car in a well ventilated area, and spray the rest of the t/b cleaner in while running and opening the throttle just a little

also its best to start to spray the rest of the can in, when the engine is at optimal engine temp.
