I don't remember correctly but do your guys airbag light, light up when there's no one in your passenger seat? I thought when it lights up it means that the airbag is off, but mine stays like that even if there is no one or if there is someone sitting there. I just went in for the recall check and they checked it and the light still doesn't light up. It also looks like my passenger door lock motor went dead and they had to replace it for the auto lock to work.

 

sometimes mines on sometimes not i dont keep up with that as long as my airbag works i am good.

If you have something on the passenger seat that weighs less than a person the light comes on saying the bag is off.

Like a case of beer. That's when mine comes on. So it won't go off if you're driving with a small child in the front seat. Saves the beer and children!!

 

Yeah if you have a case of that's heavy enough then the light will come on and stay on until you remove the . It's a safety feature because it only goes off if there is a heavy enough passenger or noone at all in the seat. If it is still on when noone is in the seat take it to the dealer because i think there's a recall for that.
