Default Vacume line/tube extraction?

Mybe the wrong forum but...

On my B16 intake the vacume line/tube that goes to the fuel pressure regulator broke flush when I got the motor shipped to me. I have tried a ez-out and all different screw extractors and it just spins and will not come out. I am afraid to drill it due to having shavings go in the intake. Right now it is sucking a ton of air and making my idle high. Right now I have a piece of tape in front of it.

ouch, that sucks.. does the remaining piece in there even turn?

keep the piece of tape on there, and find another vacuum source for the FPR..

Well I see you have two main options. Remove the manifold, drill it out, and spend $20 for a bolt, thread tap, and an inside deburring tool - or leave it on, stick a tiny screw in the hole secured with silicone rtv. If you're not running boost, the later will be fine. Then just reroute the fpr line to another vac line.

I will trying a few things but maybe temporarily I will be sealing it up and getting a new source and until I get a new intake gasket.
