Default oil leak/milky residue out of downpipe leaking like crazy!!! please HELP!!!

ok i finally got to put in my turbo kit again after several months of driving stock...after i put everything on oil is leaking out from the hotside out of the downpipe...first i thought my turbo needed a rebuild so i took my bros turbo (same specs) and its still leaking from the exhaust side...then i thought it had to be my return line because it was routed all funny so i redid my oil pan and had the line straight with no curves or kinks in the line...after that tried both turbos again and its STILL leaking!!! now i see some oil leaking out between the head and block where the tranny meets block (where a piece of the headgasket is visible...the oil leaking out from the exhaust is like milky seems like theres coolant mixed with it but i took the manifold out again and there were no signs of oil leaking out of the exhaust ports of the head!!! wat the heck can be wrong??? im clueless rite now so any help will be greatly appreciated

Oil is leaking from your head and splashing onto your downpipe maybe ?

Probably leaking oil and coolant from the head gasket, into the combustion chamber, through the exhaust valve/port, into the turbo and out the DP. Do a compression check, see if you are low/have mixed coolant and oil.

Yea youd think but he said no signs of it in the exhaust ports , maybe his oils just getting sludged and its going through the feed like that . But i kind of doubt it .

Sorry, I missed that part. Check and see if you're suppose to run a restrictor on your turbo (assuming you dont already have one). Alot of the newer turbos require/need a 1.2mm restrictor on the oil line.

That oil whitish sludge u see is condensation mixed with ur oil in ur downpipe...

Now how oil got into your downpipe is a good question...

Well if there is none in the exhaust ports, then the answer is obvious, being that there is only one more place for the oil to come from. Unless ofcourse the heat from the exhaust is burning the oil off until "after" the turbo where it then cools or something crazy like that.

skool is comin around the corner and im stressin bout this **** like crazy...only other thing i can think of is oil is coming in too fast and going down real slow which in turn floods the inside of the turbo and making it leak out...but how the heck can that be since the feedline is like 10 times smaller and longer then the return line!!!

what turbo do you have? Keep in mind that incoming oil is under 70psi or so of pressure and the return isnt under any.

I don't think that turbo requires a restrictor....so idk....but yes, its basically just screws inline with the oil feed right where it meets the turbo.

Stop bumping this when obv. no one knows. Try this in the forced induction forum.

Like I said, at least get some pics to show exactly where it is coming from.

you need to be using an oil restrictor...I would never run a turbo on a Honda motor without one...Those seals will go in the turbo, if they haven't already...Did you tell turbonetics what motor youre running their turbo on??? Unless their turbo has an oil restrictor already on it, I dont see how they would suggest you run it without one
