so heres the deal i was searching around on autotrader looking for some good deals and i stumbled apon a 94 GSR for 3900 i talked the guy down to 3400 and i went to drive it today, he said there was one problem and that a "local shop" diagnosted it as a "jackshaft bearing", my friend and i looked at each other puzzled we never heard of a jackshaft bearing, but its a fix at between 35- 130 $ so we went to test drive it today and not too bad, so heres the deal, start out driving and hear knocking from the front left corner the guy says dont mind it and he explained more, so we get to the street and i notice that under load the sound is gone but when i let off the gas it knocks more.... so heres the diagnosis, it is a speed dependent knock that goes away under load, help me honda tech i really want this.

 

could be an axle or intermediate shaft bearing going bad. Sounds more like a axle, but very well could be the halfshaft.
