Default Pricing for a Supra or RSX

I am still in highschool, about to new senior next yeah (who cares??) anyways just to say i still live with my parents and all. They said i can buy a new car with my own money. I don't have to worry about insurance, they said they got that covered. So an RSX typeS is like 23,000 or so brand new. How much would that be a month with 5,000 down? if so, how much would a USED supra tt for 23000 cost, because i don't think they'll give a 60 month loan for that. I make about $1100 a month, and i have no expenses. my only expense will be my car.
bah im rambling. my question is can i afford either? if so how much a month for supra/rsx. thanks

i think you should go with an rsx-s. that's just my opinion though. i think you'll appreciate it more, and learn more about cars itself. i don't think i'm ready for a car with a turbo in it, so i'm happy for now learning what i can about engines. visit the rsx boards, and the supra boards...they should help you in making your decision.

oh yeah, and new cars don't come with as many problems as used ones. good luck.

Wrong forum.

You'll probably find more folks who can answer your question in the RSX forum or at http://www.mkiv.com

Typically, three year loans are offered for 7-10 yr old automobiles. For the money a brand new RSX sounds like a good idea.

The NA MKIV's have 220 HP @ 5800 RPM, 210 TQ @ 4800 RPM

0-60 is about 7-7.5 seconds and 15.2-15.5 sec 1/4 mile.

The non turbo's are nothing special.

I think ever since Fast and the Furious came out there was a huge increase on price because now everyone wants one.

Isn't that the truth! you should hear the kind of crap I get whenever I say I'm getting an Rx7 (FD).

"you're only getting an RX7 cause it was in TF&TF"

I hope you punched that guy an RX7 is just a hot *** car TF&TF did nothing but market the car and spawn thousands of ricers... Good for the car companies bad for use (unless your sell parts )

I got to agree with the rest of the group. Get the RSX. It is front wheel drive but it is unlikely you will ever have a problem with it. Unless, of course you drive like an idiot. The car will likely last longer than you want it and they hold there value. I've owned two Integra GSR's back to back. Great cars!

Just get an N/A Supra, then save some money and throw on a T88.

Actually, that'll end up being harder than just getting a Supra TT and swapping out to a T88. If you go to http://www.supraforums.com that's what they all say, It's not worth it to turbo the NA.

If you get the TT you can get a SP57 single and get up to 450-550 WHP on the stock fuel system (maxed out of course). IIRC the SP57 will cost around $4000-5000.
