you guys think it's worth buying a 2 yr old header for 100 bucks ?or would it be better buying a Megan one for like 150 brand new? I dont really wanna cash out 3 bills on a new header when Megan is ok? ehhhhhh whatchalll think ?

 

they are all bottom rung headers anyways i say get the megan

 

I wouldn't say DC Sports is a bottom rung header but they are not the best made ones either. DC Sports headers are ok - especially the ceramic coated ones which last a while. DC Sports had a lot of problems mainly with the mid pipes / flex pipes which would separate (at least on the TSXs as of lately).

For bottom rung I would suggest something like Pacesetter headers - worst welds - tubes are not lined up correctly to the header adaptor plate. They rust like crazy - but you get a new $130 header.

 

ok, so its not "bottom rung" but for the price difference he might as well just get the stainless megan which is only $100 iirc

 

OEM, Honda makes bad *** headers, thats one of the best enginered parts they put on there cars. Save the $200 for something else. Thats my .02

 

hmm..... had 20k miles on my old DC 4-1 JDM header....................I guess my is junk, hey :dunno:

 

I've had mine for 2 years, and the ceramic coating is flaking off and it's rusting.
