I'm running Nokiians (sp?) on dedicated wheels. From my research, they outperform Blizzacks after a season or two of use. So far, (3rd season) no com-plaints.

I thinking of a set of Michelin X-Ice judging from their reviews on Tire Rack. I haven't quite decided yet, though.

Toyo G02's are really good, it's for sure my next set for my winter car.

I've tried several brands. What I found out was that they all perform about the same. If you drive smart, you will not get stuck, even in a blizzard (to a point). I've gone up to ski resorts in the middle of a big snow storm on some cheap Hankook snow tires.

Get a dedicated snow tire, and you'll be fine. If I had to buy snow tires, I'd get whatever's the cheapest...which were the Hankooks ($50/tire)

I got a set of the new I'Pikes from Hankook and they are good not as good as my old Toyo Observes but they get the job done for the price!

And, by the way, I STRONGLY recommend you get them on all 4 corners, wnatever brand you choose.

Definately all 4 corners.

Over-priced, in my opinion. So are the M3's.

I just bought a set of Blizzaks. In Wisconsin, we have only had one major snowfall so far, and it was BAD. I was very confident driving with my Blizzaks in 8-10".

I got Blizzaks for this season up in Chicago and think they're a waste of money IMHO. It doesnt snow up here enough anymore to make it worthwhile unless you drive somewhere that does. Get whatever is cheapest.
