Most people rock the mugen pan.

The spoon pan does not even compare to it

Note: If the owner of this pic wants it taken down please let me know.

And neither of these compare's to the Moroso pan (which is actually cheaper then the Mugen one):

They have baffles, so you wont starve your motor of oil at the track

If you search Mugen Oil Pan here, and read through some of the past topics, you'll see opinions that the baffled oil pan is good and is useless on the street. Some also swear by them on the track and some say they arent needed at the track... but again its all opinions.

Agreed.. the moroso quality is top notch.

Only issue I've HEARD of with some of the Moroso pans is that they fit like ****. I have no personal experience with that whatsoever, so can't say one way or the other. Mugen is a modified OEM pan, so it fits perfectly, which I can personally attest to through experience with several Mugen pans. Other than that, yeah, any of these are completely unnecessary on the street.

Which is why I don't run the moroso as I am a wuss and don't want to chop up the pretty factory bits...

I would think having the oil temp sensor on a sandwich adapter makes more sense since oil is always travelling through the oil filter; whereas it could run low and not provide as accurate of a temp. reading from the pan....

I happen to have a brand new mugen pan/gasket for sale too.

It is a great oil pan, had one on my previous motor.
