Default Is there a short shifter for a 4th gen accord?

Im looking for a decent short shifter for my 93 accord. Something not super pricy, but gets the job done. Im looking for them but I cant seem to find any.

Usually you can find many no names on ebay but none for a 4th gen.

I have a Forbidden Short shifter in my CB7. Some modification had to be done, but it really nice. Take a look

i have a 92-96 prelude shifter in a 92 accord shift assembly w/ little modification. its just a tad bit longer than the forbidden peice and you can rig something up to raise the linkage hookup point easily

a lot of people have done the forbidden prelude shifter. but how difficult are the modifications on a scale of 1-10? and are there good write ups about this?

How is the neuspeed asapter? its just an adapter and just changes the shift throws only 30% which seems kinda low for a $100 piece of metal.

The modifications are minimal, it involves trimming the centre console at the top of where the shifter is so that there is enough clearance for the shifter cable. Otherwise its a bolt-in job.

Just get an ebay special and call it a day. Unless you opt for a full short shifter....then go w/ the forbidden or the other one (name escapes me).....

getta pspec or forbidden. i wouldn't get an adapter if i were you. it doesn't do much for the price u get them for.

on the contrary, the adapter can be had for 20 bux on ebay shipped. In terms of value, it gives 30% of what forbidden/pspec offer at 15% of the cost. I think that is a steal. I have had both adapter and forbidden. if you are in a pinch, get the adapter, call it a day.

what search words should I use to find an ebay adapter? this is just an ok daily driver. so top parts isnt my concern. I just want something cheap to aide "driver comfort" and I never had an ss before so its just something I wanted to do.

do I search for a prelude adapter or something?

Pspec next to stock 92-96 prelude shifter. not a very big height difference and you can make a bracket to raise the shift point with $5 worth of parts from home depot. works great for me but i have it at the stock shift point ATM.
