what would happen if i put an auto p28 ecu in my manual?

but i don;t think you can use hondata with it

 

i believe the ecu will have probs with the tranny since its off an automatic and it wants to switch gears itself once it reaches a cetain RPM at certain throttle.. you prob have a CEL but dont think it'll fck sht up....just get the manual p28

yeah i know bout the shiftin but do u think it would idle right and rev up fine without drivin it

 

did you do a manual conversion?

details on why you trying to use a auto ecu one a manual?

 

u can buy a $15 chip that will solve the problem from ebay

no it was already manual. but it wasnt vtec so i had to get a vtec ecu. i had this one layin around

learn before you speak

 

If you plug in the ECU without converting it to manual you will get a funky idle at times, and a CEL 19 (auto trans solinoid)

I've done it more times than I can count with zero problems.

The ECU will work with hondata/Crome/Uberdata or any other program like it. (was this even asked??) Once you convert it to a manual trans...

A $15 chip from Ebay will not solve the CEL 19 problem.

 

Yeah just do the jumper and resistor mod and your done
