Default valve springs and retainers

I have stock springs(original with the car), new oem valves and retainers(from first rebuild) and since my motor is coming apart again i want to upgrade these two. I was thinking of portflow valve springs and titanium retainers. Any feedback? This is going into a gsr with stock cams. Are they too stiff for stock cams? Good or bad idea,,or???

with stock cams aftermarket springs will not be necessary. if you want to upgrade use itr valve springs and oem retainers.

Ti retainers are known for wearing down and then breaking.....some of the newer designs wont do that, but for the most part they are considered "race" parts and not expected to last 100k like you might think. I would stick with stock valve springs, being that stiffer valve springs are just going to cause more drag on the engine. If you plan on revving it higher (ie, turbo), then maybe get some ITR valve springs.
