Alot of the HT members seem to have this Virus on their system, The Virus will randomly send emails to anyone you email or anyone in your email lists etc. I am getting at least 5-20 emails a day that are infected and Have been lucky so far that I keep up to date with my Norton Antivirus 2002.
You will not know any other way (That I know of) and it won't show up in a virus scan even if your already infected so PLEASE Click on the following link and check your system. It takes about a whole 5 minutes to do and will save alot of people some headaches.

I unfortunately have this virus as we speak.. I do not have an Address book on AOL though, so no need to worry about me emailing the virus to any of you...

I have Norton Systemworks 2002, unfortunately, I have the trojan virus as well, and I have quarantined all the infected files, but it will not get rid of them.

 

Hmm...will it detect the virus automatically if I already have norton?

It should as long as your up to date. I'd update every 2 or 3 days as New Viruses are found daily. Today 2 more were found from what I read on Nortons main page.

It will email the Virus attached to a regular file and will send ANY File you have on your computer that ends in the file types listed in the 1st link.

 

yeah, it hit ower office last week... harmless, but a pain in the ***. There is a fix on there sight http://www.norton.com that's if you got infected by this bug.

 

I would Not say its Harmless, It sends out files off of your computer. It might just send out your Doc file with baseball stats But it also might send out personal info, Business info etc etc. It can be VERY Harmful.
