Default Oil Leak on top of valve cover..HELP

the little bolt that screws the valve cover on top of my valve cover closest to the side of the distrbuter under the spark plug cover always has a little oil on it...is this a major problem..the bolt goes down but it doesnt lock up..it just keeps spinning...is it the bolt or the stud??

it could be the bolt or the threads on the inside. pull the bolt if it looks stripped then put a new bolt if not then get a helicoil to fix the threads in the bolt hole

the nuts that go on the valve cover are like $.30. they strip pretty easily if you put more than the 9ft-lbs spec on them
