I have a tranny at home, my buddy who gave it to me said its from a 92 GSR, i took some pics of the numbers on the tranny, can someone tell me what it means.

Numbers go : first :7 Second: 18 Third: 2S and it also says YSK-1

The only real way to check and see what tranny you have is to take it apart and count the teeth on the gears! The numbers only tell what chassis the tranny came out of! Check out Katmans ffs.technet website! Can't remember the exact webpage name! Go to ff-squad.com and click on tech!

theres also a way to tell by spinning something like on the diff isn't there?
