... and only 3 posts up from this one (or right below now) is an update on an R18 turbo from AJP. So, yep, someone has. There's a video listed on here too. Take a look around and do some searching.

Yeah those auto trannys definitely arent geared up or built for any sort of power. You may hit issues with that.

Yeah bro, def. can't run 15 psi on an auto tranny.... if it was manual, maybe, but even then, when you're reaching that high in psi in a high compression engine.... bah... looking at internals and possibly a stroker kit, and I don't see that coming out for a looooong time..... but you can still give me yur turbo parts and I'll make sure they get put to good use.

My answer to that question is, how long you want to keep your car? The wear and tear of forced induction "could" shorten the cars life. If you have the money, I say go for it. If you don't, I would consider another car to start from. Not a lot of charted territory with a turboed auto FA/FG.

/\ He's got a good point, plus no need to tear apart a perfectly good FG. Especially with a warranty still on there. That's like taking a crap on $2,000. But then again, with a different perspective, if you got the parts laying around... do something with them.

S/C = longer engine life

T/C = more power

T/C ... and that's not particularly true, I bet that mazda suv that's turbo'd has a decent lifespan.... and it all depends on how you tune it and how you drive it.

True. The Mazda CX-7?? I heard about that SUV. Seems pretty pointless to Turbo an SUV though. But that's just my .02.

Porsche Cayenne = 520hp Twin Turbo V8

RDX can't touch it.
