should i turbo?
i have any 07 civic 1.8lt auto. should i turbo it? i have a t3/t4 garrett turbo and a t3 garrett turbo i also have a intercooler, waste gate, blowoff valve, flanges, boost guage just laying around so should i?
... and only 3 posts up from this one (or right below now) is an update on an R18 turbo from AJP. So, yep, someone has. There's a video listed on here too. Take a look around and do some searching.

it really depends on you though. if you want to race in a base civic which was orginally ment for gas mileage

Yeah bro, def. can't run 15 psi on an auto tranny.... if it was manual, maybe, but even then, when you're reaching that high in psi in a high compression engine.... bah... looking at internals and possibly a stroker kit, and I don't see that coming out for a looooong time..... but you can still give me yur turbo parts and I'll make sure they get put to good use.
My answer to that question is, how long you want to keep your car? The wear and tear of forced induction "could" shorten the cars life. If you have the money, I say go for it. If you don't, I would consider another car to start from. Not a lot of charted territory with a turboed auto FA/FG.
/\ He's got a good point, plus no need to tear apart a perfectly good FG. Especially with a warranty still on there. That's like taking a crap on $2,000. But then again, with a different perspective, if you got the parts laying around... do something with them.
