i work at a tires plus where we are the only shop equipped with a pax machine to mount and dismount pax tires in the state. the dealership just get new wheel and tire combos to sell to the public, so we get the odysseys coming in from all over the place.
these tires arent cheap.
300-350 a pop.
so anyways back to the question. these vans are coming in with like 23-30k miles on them. are you guys getting the same out of them

 

i'm PAX certified too. That's the typical mileage that you get out of them. But every Honda dealer can do the tires by now. So unless there are no Honda dealers in Mn you aren't the only ones.

 

good, they are a pita. but we did one the other day and the lady said that she went to the dealer and they were going to sell her a hole rim tire package, so maybe some of the dealers have them and some dont, we have about 5 honda dealers around the area.

 

All American Honda dealers are required to have at least one PAX certified technician As of some date a few months ago. We can still sell the entire wheel but it's more cost effective to replace the tire.

If any Honda dealer is not PAX certified they don't get Touring Odysseys anymore.
