Im not 100 percent sure on whats out there...but 110,000 miles and getting ready to supercharge it sounds like a blown engine to me within a year or so.

not really, ive reaearched this, you would need a new tranny i believe the only one that is rated for more than stock Hp is a Dr. Evil trans which costs upwards of 2 grand i believe, and than the supercharger kit costs another 3k or so. IMO no worth it, sell your car and get something faster or deal with 200hp

why wouldnt you just turbo? its not as linear power, but i would imagine that since that is the way everyone goes, that you would want to go that way as well.

putting a supercharger on an accord V6 will not result in any problems if the engine is in proper working order

try $3500 plus $500 core + installation if you cannot do it yourself.

SKINGFREAK,

supercharger fits in with no modifications needed Turbo can be done but he will spend a lot more in custom work

I wanted to say it was something more along those lines, but i didnt want to scare the guy away from the project, simply show him that this isnt anything cheap. i know when i started looking at doing this, that number alone scared my away seeing as by the time you invest in the trans and supercharger kit (assuming you do all the instals) you could have sold your current car taken that money and bought a newer car.

But thankyou for correcting me

skingfreak,

Also for the trans a supercharger is better since you don't get the jolt of power that you do when a turbo spins up. Also, the AUto in the accord can handle about 260 or so HP on stock internals if it wasn't for the design flaws.........

when i refered to the turbo, i was talking about the other person who posted "HondaTech101" . i would recomend the supercharger other than the cost. and dang our crappy transmissions

yeah i think your right about selling the car...it doesn't look like even with the supercharger that im going to get the kind of power that i want out of the car...im thinking more about a b18 turbo civic or something
