Default throttle body spacer

new question....

looking on summit, they have throttle body spacers. never heard of it, and wondering what it does, and how much it helps.... thanks!

Supposedly it keeps the t-body from touching the IM, thus lowering intake temperatures. The benefit can't be very much...

I think you would notice more gains(if any) from a phelonic spacer for the intake mani rather than just a TB spacer

i have a spacer on my civic and it helped but it wasnt worth the money they say it gives you 15 hp and 15 tq but all it gives u is a whistling noise from 2 rpm to 3 not worth the money

Right on, hunk of crap. If you want something that will actually increase performance look into a Hondata intake manifold gasket. Reduces heat soak to cool intake temps. Not noticeable but certainly worth more than a TB spacer.
