Default sup guyz - engine cleaning!!!!

well yea i'm in school, suppose to be doing this **** for english haha.
but i have a question.
my engine bay/engine has a great ammount of dust/dirt/oil , anything an older car would have.

what can i use to clean it? and how, without taking anything apart or dropping the engine. and could possibly do it in my driveway//car wash.

thanks guyz

with a warm engine, cover the filter, alt., fuse box, and dizzy with plastic bags or seranwrap. load up on simple green or any engine degreaser. the pressure wash off avoiding the above mentioned places with direct water. after that, get a bottle of spray 9 and a rag and go to town in the small areas.

got patiences?? cause ur gunna need it.

Either simple green or a degreaser and some water pressure would do it. Make sure you dont get the dizzy or your intake too wet though. You can also use carb cleaner, but becareful it can discolor stuff.

just take some bags to one of those car washes where you put in the quarters and do it yourself. they can spray engine degreaser while pressure washing. probably would be the quickest

some engine bright degreaser or just some degreaser and a pressure washer would be great.
