What do u guys think I could sell my SI for??
Hey guys...things might get tuff here shortly..and I might have to sell my SI (God Forbid that has to happen) But I got Navi, with 8k, and about 3k worth of stuff on it done...MSRP was about 23,500 or so...I just don't know how to figure what it's worth with the stuff done..thanks
MSRP was not 23.5K. That was the price you paid for it. Aftermarket parts do not raise the value of the car to a dealer. Privately, I think you could get around $20k.
I did pay MSRP, I didn't pay for any add-ons..I worked at the dealership when I bought it..maybe it was about 22,300 then...but anyways..you don't think I could sell it for around 23k? To someone who wants it pretty bad, I think I could get that..and the good news is Credit Unions and Banks will give full retail for it too..cause it's an 06..

No, I wouldn't because I can all the other ones people will sell in addition to you. Their price will not be as high. Plus, they didn't do the install. How do they know parts are installed correctly and the car has no issues.

Aftermarket parts lower the price, not raise it especially ones with a suspect reputation like the AEM intake and DCRH & exhaust. You will be lucky to get $20K unless you find a dumbass buyer.

hold on boys...the car is still hard enough to find on the lot somewhere...the mods are reasonable but you might be better off putting on the original parts if you still have them and sell your parts on ebay...You might be able to make a pretty good deal...maybe a little below MSRP but not by too much. You could always try to sell on EBAY too for a week and see what happens. IMO
I have found KBB estimated prices to be much higher than people are willing to spend, but it is a good tool to get the advertising price from. Just expect to bargain down, probably closer to the NADA or Edmunds True Value Price as both tend to be a bit lower (sometimes thousands).

I'll buy it for a $100 but, that's all I got.
Sorry to hear of your unfortunate circumstances. Seriously though, if you do sell it, get a cheap EK and drop a K20/K24 in it.

The car might be a little harder to find than other new cars, but it's not exactly an ITR or Supra so you're not gonna make money off of selling it unless you've paid it down quite a bit.

I just did a quick search and found 8 used examples in my area. The prices range from 25K for a non navi (Haha) to 20k.
I'd say list it for $22K

18K the most.
No1 will pay 20K for a used si with aftermarket parts in it.

You should be able to get 22k for the car, if you are willing to keep it listed for a month or so. I work for a Honda dealership here in Norman, Ok, and Honda has a constraint on coupes with Navi. I had been trying to get mine since August, and every time our allocation time came at the end of the month, it would not let us order a coupe with Navi. Our Honda rep advised us of the constraint, and said he may be able to do a special order for one, and was finally able to in November. I just picked it up on Saturday. We have had 3 or 4 of the new Si sedans with Nav, but for whatever reason, the coupes with nav are scarce. I guess it is possible this is just in our region...not sure. Anyhow, a kid we sold an Si to in October couldn't keep up with his high insurance, and sold it back to my used car manager. Why he did this versus selling it in the paper; I'm not sure. It had 3k miles, and I think we gave him 19k back for the car ($21,800 msrp). We put it out on the used car lot for 22k, and ended up selling it for $20,700. We currently have no Si coupes, and haven't had one on the lot since August. All the coupes are presold; they are contracted out on as soon as we get a VIN. The Si coupes are harder to get ahold of than most people realize, and I get about 3-4 customers a month wanting an Si. When my car came in, every dealership in the area called wanting to dealer trade a sedan with navi for it, and we had a guy in the dealership that offered to pay over sticker if we would sell him the car. Anyway...the coupe with Navi has an msrp of $23, 458 I believe, so 22k for an 8,000 mile car that is hard to get ahold of is more feasible than you might believe. See you all around...
you made no sense...
a kid w/the same car as his sold his car for 19K through a dealership since there's a scare on the coupe yet you guys wanted to make some money selling it at 22K yet no1 would pay 22K for a USED car so u sold it to a desperate person for 20K which was the most someone offered i assume.
I'm sorry but what a load of bs...

My grammatically correct post may have caused a comprehension problem with you. I stated we sold an SI without navigation (hence the $21,800 msrp that I quoted) for $20,700. Forget what we purchased the car for, or what we asked for it; it is just confusing you. Of course we didn't expect to get 22k for it, that is over sticker for what the car cost new. Room for negotiation is always added to used cars on any lot, and many times customers don't know what the car cost new in the first place. I essentially stated if we can sell a non-navigation SI that was $21,800 new, for $20, 700 used; he should be able to sell his navigation model that stickered for $23,500 for $22,000. The miles may be an issue with getting 22k, and I'd probably take 21k for it and be very happy.

Oh sheet...my post was considering the vehicle as a used '07. I just realized his is an '06. My story reflected a used '07 we resold. Hmmm...yeah, 20k max.

There's no way a person with common sense would buy a used si for $20,700 before taxes. That's what i was essentially referring to.
