which exhaust is better for my car? an apexi ws2 exhaust($400) or a hayame 2'5 exhaust($300 on ebay)? i have a 95 gsr with an iceman intake and dc cc 4-2-1 two piece header. will either exhaust bolt onto my stock cat? is the hayame exhaust loud btw?

 

neither is good, but if you want me to choose, i would choose the apexi ws 2 and yes they should bolt up to your cat as long as you buy the right application

just to let you know youre not going to gain power with either one of those exhausts or any exhaust for that matter as long as you have that cat

proof??

 

aftermarket exhaust systems only provide minimal gains...... It only really helps if your motor is built since the larger diameter piping helps the flow. I've had the trust sp, greddy sp, greddy evo, jdm itr axle back, apexi n1, and now running the apexi ws2. I'm happy with the ws2 since its quiet....I changed to the ws2 cause I'm tired of having everyone look at me on the freeway when I'm cruising at 80mph @ 4000rpm...car sounds like its going "HELLA FAST" but really, its just going the flow of traffic!

apex'i FTW.....hayame is just some "jdm sounding" brand made by SPW...nothing special nor worth 300 bucks IMO
