Lost car key
Call Honda and ask, you probablyive them the vin number and show them the regstration to get it coppied but I'm not sure if our cars are to old now for that...
yup, honda dealer can, as long as you show proof of ownership and have vin. One thing though, if you think your locks have been replaced, they will have no way to match key without taking it apart.
that happened to me before, just remove your door handle with the key cylinder thing. Take it to a locksmith and they will stick something in there, and in like 2 minutes he will be right back with a new key for you. When i did it, they charged me like 20 bucks. If you dont want to take the door handle off, you can call the locksmith and they will come to you, im pretty sure that will cost a bit more.
Just go to honda. I work at a dealership in the parts department and we do this all the time. All you need is proof of ownership(something that says your name and the vin) and a photo ID. Then they can cut you a new key. It beats removing your door handle^^^^^^

When I needed a key for my 88 CRX, TWO dealers told me that the car was too old when they looked up the VIN and they no longer had the key code in the system. Luckily I found an original spare key that had the key code stamped on the key so they could make me a second key.

it seems everyone knows about the old honda key trick now anyway but most people just leave the car as-is and wonder why it gets jacked
