well in order to hold 15-25lb's of boost your gunna have to do alot of stuff. New sleevs new pistions (low compression) port and polished head valves manifold fule management ect. it's gunna run you a good 7-9k depending on what you get and who puts it in for you. use the search and post in the F I thread too.

okay thats running a little more than expected. What about if 10-15lbs.. I know that being a gsr motor that you dont need to do alot to the engines to make it turbo cause they hold.. But what is the least amount to do to install a turbo?

just go 7-10 lbs of boost stock internals and get a good tune. and don't blow it up.

edit... how many miles on the motor?

if u have quite a bit of miles its a good idea to get a compression and leak down test. Dont worry about how much psi u have. PSI depends on what size turbo u get so psi is going to range. You should shoot for whp, something like 225-300. Also 300whp on a stock block is doable you just have to have a really good tune, no fmu BS. Piecing together ur own kit is going to be cheaper AND you learn alot along the way. Hope this helps goodluck

edit....you should also have a look at the Forced Induction section.
