Default something gooffy with my chipped ecus

I have two chipped ecu. One of them I purchase from here. I am currently running n/a but still running 450 dsm injectors... reason why is that I tapped the resistor box to my harness and its a bitch to find the right wire from the engine harness to the chassis harness.

I have a friend who owns an ostrich chip burner and burn me two identical base map, one for each ecu. The problem is that the check light doesn’t turn off once its on the on position like its supposed to. I have a jumper for the chip so I can disable it if I want. When I disabled the chip the check light goes away… so it’s the chip that’s messed up right? Both ecu doesn’t work properly.

Can someone with knowledge confirm that it’s the chip burner or the ecu its self that is defective... by the way they both are obd-1 po6 ecus

If its a solid CEL, it could be the chip. I used to take my chip out when I parked the car, but one day it would die right after startup and throw a solid CEL. Luckly I had my lappy and chip burner, reburned, and fired right up. It was actually great, as a crowd had appeared and really impressed them

If its not a solid CEL, check it and do a search, then post again when the info you find can't get it fixed.

its a solid cell and it stays on... im guessing its a bad burner.

think its be okay to run obd-1 stock injectors with the ressistor hooked up. the ressistor is all soldered and taped so i rather not take it out

What program did he use to burn you a chip? Did he delete the checksum? If not then thats whats wrong with it. Also if the chips backwards it wont work as well.
