Default Throttle Bodies

I heard that if you put a 90 - 93 se throttle body, on a 94 - 97 accord, you gain HP. He said its bigger so lets more air in. Anyone know if this is true. I drove a 96 lx. dont flame me this is just what i heard, just a simple question. thanks

H22a works the best. I think the H23a1 uses the same crap, not sure exactly.

So if i got the H22a TB what would i have to modify for it to work. Do you think it is worth it to do this or not? Do you know of anyone doing this?

Our beloved moderator runs an h22a t/b with port matched intake.

well they already said the Mod has a prelude throttle body so your answer is yes it will work. As for gains who knows I dont. I have never seen it dynoed. But to get gains you will have to port match the intake manifold

you HAVE to portmatch it or else you gain nothing no increased airflow, no power. and the stock tb is so small you will need a new silicon hose connector to go between the t/b and intake, if you have an aem intake you will need a 3" intake to accomidate the size

you will need a TB from a 94-95 h22/23 equipped prelude 5spd
(teh auto TB is diff)

and yes you have to portmatch.
is there a shop anywhere that will do the p.m. for you?
