frankenstein swaps are not for noobs like me. if you have to ask, and have not the slightest idea how to do it, i don think you should try and slap on a vtec head. because theres a lot more too it than that. i was considering doin an lsvtec build earlier. changed my mind. goin w/ an h22.
heres a good write up i found researchinghttps://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1676914 its dealin w/ the ls b18 bottom. but its the same basic concept.

har-har

i can tell you havent looked because there are an overload of tutorials
if you arent willing to research then you arent ready to do the project

i would guestimate low 15s with the motor
maybe low 14 with the mix-match

well i know b20s running stock with basic bolt ons on a eg will run 14's...its really up to you. If you know alot about building motors i would go with it but if not i'd start off with a gsr motor...best b-series to start with.

you also have to realize that those motors dont include A LOT of necessary parts. you would be looking at spending a lot more on other things to get that motor in your car.

It's pretty much the same as a b18b, its pretty good in my hatch, they come stock in crv's, crvtecs usually fail, build the block as well as swap the head, this guy I know blows head gaskets all the time with his ls/vtec

something is seriously wrong if he keeps blowing head gaskets, read bam bams tutorial on ls/vtec b20/vtec. its much more complicated that you would imagine, it takes alot of $$ to do a b20/vtec correctly so it can handle the revving power the vtec head is capable of.
