in my 91 crx si when i press the clutch pedal all the way down i hear a very faint tapping type noise.. if i let it up about an inch it stops... so its only when its pressed all the way down.. and it dont seem to increase with engine rpm either.. i only have about 700 miles on theclutch .. any idea what it could be . or is it normal.?

are you sure the throwout bearing and pilot bearing was installed correctly?

 

ya , i installed it all.. it was fine till about a few days ago.. still works fine just clicks with pedal all the way down.. like a faint tapping noise.
