Default Motorcycle EMS for turbo/nitrous'd bikes

I'm trying to develope an ems for motorcycles. All the bike guys are using are afc hacks and fmu's......I keep getting in arguements on the forums because they swear by them.

I see AEM EMS used on a lot of different cars. Is it universal like motec?

I never knew if they had 1 aem ems for all cars with just all kinds of sensor imputs, or they were actually made for a paticular car.

What are my other options as well. I'm not sure if I want to put the time and effort into creating something like uberdata. That would be a little over my head right now. Although i don't think it would take me very long to figure it out.

Aem has a race box that has been used I think on a motorcycle.

The reason they swear by them is because they work very well...

I've done a few fuel only computers for most turbo bikes and they work great..

how can someone properly tune it without timing? Sure we can tune 10psi on an afc hack for a honda....its certainly not a very good tune though.

I would think it would be even more important on an NA motor revving to 16k rpm

you don't need an EMS to be able to adjust timing..

I'm not saying an EMS isn't better because that's not true.
But for most of these guys there only running 6~8lbs of boost, i don't feel ems is absolutely necessary...

A friend uses Electo-motive on the turbo bikes he builds.

Consider the new Microsquirt. It should be out very soon. Its really nice and compact, cheap(~$399) and full of features.

Electromotive Tec3 would work nicely on a bike.
