Default Should I drain my transmission fluid?

I been riding in my automatic accord for 120k and I haven't changed the transmission fluid, if I change it will it add hp or better performance? and why do I need to change it? I bought 4quartz from crown for 30bucks.

If a fool ask a stupid question, tell them stupid answer back.

You'll probably gain 100-150 extra HP from a trans fluid change.

The owners manual has the fluid change intervals.

Redneck Moderator will threaten to ban you for asking that.

"79-07 Accords are all the same" was what I was told

The year is 1996 and Im just asking because I don't want to waste 30dollar on it and there is not any problem with my accord everything is fine, and I replaced the cv axle shaft on both side now I just wanted to know if this a good Idea since I heard if you replace new transmission fluid on a car thats over 80k it will make your gear to start slipping... Since yall know more about car let me know something.

I think that your car actually might not have transmission fluid. Sometime in mid 96 they stopped using tranny fliud and went to an pnuematic controlled/ air cooled design for fuel efficiancy.

How is this possible? I checked the dip stick on the transmission fluid and it came out pink/brown, can someone verify this... I want to refund my money at the same time and want to change fluid also, but I'm afraid of the problem it might cause to the transmission if I change the fluid. I want to get people from experience to answer.

You wont Gain Any Horsepower, I Suggest you Get 2 Lucas Transmission Fixes, and then 2 quarts of Honda OEM tranny fluid..

Works great, i used it in my accoird when it had 180k on it and my tranny slipped and the lucas helped alot

You will not gain any performance, but you may notice smoother shifting and smoother ride
