how smooth can sandblasting make an aluminum wheel? Can they be polished right afterwards?

how smooth can sandblasting make an aluminum wheel? Can they be polished right afterwards?

I want to get my rsx rims sandblasted so I can polish them, but I dont really want to do alot of sanding... and whats the difference between sandblasting and beadblasting? Which is better/more costly?

I am unsure on the sandblasting but I am interested to know myself cause it seems like it would be easy if it didnt pit the wheels to badly.

I called a sandblasting place and they said they could be polished righ after... and alot of guys on the polish your wheels thread seem to feel the same.

I sand blasted my TE37 and they came out ruff I guess you can use diffrent grit sand and they will come out smoother. I think its better to use paint stripper on the wheels
