Portflow is your best bet for headwork. DPR (Dan Paramour (sp?) Racing) does headwork too - but I'm not sure if he has a shop any more.

For the head - you have not provided any information with respect to what kind of motor you want to build. That's kind of important. i.e. what block are you going to use? Is the car going to be a daily driver? What kind of cams do you intend to use? Is the bottom end going to be stock or modified? what is your budget? what kind of driving do you do?

I want a setup for everyday driving but also want lots of power. I am going to build up the block as well and looking for about 195-205 whp . i dont have the block yet just the head. It will be a long term project here and there type thing for about 2 months or so . so the money thing is not a problem. Also what block do you think i should use when i get it? Also what kind of valve train there is none what so ever. Like i said i want lots of power.

Actually, before you start going off about something you are unaware of, the post originally said he needed info on a B18C5 block and so that is why Jordo replied with "crank". Since then the author of this thread edited his initial post and changed block to head. Thanks.

Some people are so concerned about making someone look bad, when they don't pay enough attention themselves, and end up looking stupid.

I think the cost of buying all those parts separately from the dealer will cost you much more than buying a complete head itself.

May be you can try sell the bare head to someone and then buy a completed B16A head and then send it out for a good P&P job.

but the thing is i want all diffrent parts for the valve train. I want diffrent cams valve springs and retainers valves and the only thing i want the same is the lost motions, rockers. Do you know where i can get rockers and lost motions brand new? The stock b18c5 ones are fine. Thanks

Also about how much do they cost???

Call Mike K. at Naples Acura when he gets back from vacation. Search for posts by Mike K. and you will find his contact info in his sig.

I have no idea how much they cost.

Haha, just buy a complete head. A brand new set of rockers is about $800. Did you get the cam caps? If not, that head is basically trash.
Edit: Nevermind, make that over $1000 for brand new rocker arms. http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.net/...ER+ARM+%282%29
Check out #5.

I am just about to say "make sure you have your seat belt on before you call to find out how much the brand new rocker arm is from the dealer, so you won't fell out of your chair!!"

They are very expensive, and unless you can find other parts and the rocker arm used, I would just get a complete head and try to sell you bare head.
