Well folks it finally happened to me!! Some low life asshats tried to take my pride and joy. What they did get away with was my Recaro's and my Eclipse head unit. What ***** to try and steal a car in someone's driveway. Please don't flame for car not being in the garage, my garage is the bermuda triangle. So all people keep your eyes peeled for two black JDM Recaros and an Eclipse 8455 cd player.

 

Did you interupt them or did you discover it after the fact?

I noticed after the fact. I wish I had caught them. I'd probably be in jail myself!!! I happened to be going to the market last night, I looked in to check on my baby and I didn't see the familiar outline of my Recaro's. My heart and stomach both sunk. Then to see the ignition all broken and torn apart. A tear came to my eyes. I almost lost her.

happened to me too, my buddy club was stolen. car was too protected to be stolen. Its a crappy feeling

Shouldnt the eclipse CD player have a tracking device in it? I almost bought a Eclipse CD player for that exact reason. Call Eclipse if you have the Serial number and get them to track it.

 

get a DEI alarm system bro...and get it installed right...how much security do you have? my uncles FBP ITR got rolled right in front my house and i live in santa barbara,ca...nice neighborhood too. My uncle had no alarm or nothing...security is a must if you own a import, especially if its a civic/teg

Eclipse probably has a code you need to put in order to use the head unit, similiar to the Acura OEM CD/Radios. That Recaro kid seat in the front of that convertible. Is that okay for kids? I thought kids are only supposed to sit in the back of cars. I guess if you have a pickup it's kinda the same thing. Better to put them in back I assume?

 

Sorry for your loss but be glad they didn't take your car. What nerve to do that in your driveway, be very careful. Thieves are scum, they tried to jack my car at 1:00 in the afternoon with people around the premises. This is why I don't want to drive my car anymore and I'm so paronoid. There are times when I just want to sell my car. Congratulations on your new baby
