I HAVE GOT A HONDA CIVIC M REG 1.5 3 DOOR

HAVING PROBLEMS GETTING IT STARTED I HAVE CHANGED THE SPARK PLUGS, DIS CAP AND ROTOR ARM

GETTING A SPARK TO VERY POT STARTER IS TURNING BUT WILL NOT START.

ANYONE GOT ANY IDEAS?????

 

is it getting gas?

get some starting fuild (its in a spray can)


sprary in your intake and see if it fires..


report back with results

 

its getting gas,have not tryed the spray

 

so you are sure the injectors are spraying gas?

 

double check your wires

 

injectors are spraying,wires are correct
there is a spark

 

what happen to make it stop working..

give details..

 

it was working fine before i went on holiday been stud for a week and a half.

in the middle of the dis cap there was no contact,i thought that was the problem.

i can't understand why it will not start

 

if you got spark and fuel it could be timming

 

it could be i will have to get it checked out

i say try starting fuild..

if that don;t work do a compression check

make sure all sensor are pluged in.. all around the intake manifold..

check all fuses!!!

 

can u roll start it? have u tried trying to start it with your TB open a bit.

it might be bad gas depending how long u were gone for.

 

have not tryed roll start,what does tb mean?

 

if u dont know how to roll start ask. the TB means "throttle body" basically your gas pedal

 

yeah it was after when i left the post i thought that was what u meant.

u think if i bump start it,it might do the job?

so it cranks over but doesnt start up?

 

dose the check e light come on and the go off when u turn the key on if not then it could be the igniter in the dis or the coil is shot

 

thats right its will crank over but not start

 

yes the light comes on then goes off,i get a spark to every pot

I HAVE GOT A AUTO ELECTRICIAN COMING OUT TOMORROW

FINGERS CROSSED HE WILL FIND THE PROBLEM

WELL THE PROBLEM WAS THE AIR INTAKE VALVE KEEPS ON STICKING,
COST ME £62.00 FOR SOMEONE TO LOOK AT IT RIP OFF
