Default Spark problem?

So peep this, My 92 accord has had some starting problems lately. It will crank, but won’t turn over.

One of the truck drivers at work took off my distributor cap and cleaned the rotor and cap out, (there was some corrosion), and it worked like a charm for a week. Then it started doing the same thing again, so I thought I would clean out the cap again, and this time I noticed a hairline crack in the cap, so I thought this might have been causing the problem all along, i.e.; moisture getting in there and mucking things up.

So then I replaced the cap, and it fired up right away. Problem Solved, but no, the next morning it wouldn’t start and now I’m back at square one, any ideas?

So just how big is the gap on the spark plugs?
Do you have more than 175k miles on those spark plugs? LOL
Do you hear the fuel pump run for a couple seconds when you turn on the key?
When it won't start are you sure there isn't any spark at the plugs?
Check for ECU codes?
Any other driveability problems?

Okay first thing you can do, when the car won't start is to put a test light into the black/yellow wire at the Dist. and check for battery power with the key on or cranking.

That will prove that there is or isn't a good power path thru the ignition switch.

Be sure the ground wire at the T-stat housing is clean and tight.
