Default Need some input on Wiseco pistons and dealers

ok, pretty soon I'll be purchasing some low compression Wiseco pistons for my turbo build. I need to hear from some Honda junkies out there w/ experiences using Wiseco pistons. I'm not too crazy about JE, but CP is a alternative consideration for the Wiseco's. My goal is to build a fast street setup utilizing a somewhat conservative/safe tune. My hopes are to make this motor last 3+ years.

For those who want to know about my build here' some information:

It's a street setup- (not looking for anything beyond 400whp)
B16a
Pistons and rods (also could use input on rod choices, currently sold on Eagles though)
Completely stock and brand freakin new B16 head
Stock bore rehoned
Type-R final drive shoved into a B16 tranny

Gonna most likely be using Hondata S300 but could possibly switch to Crome if money becomes an issue at tuning time.
Just thought I'd add that your welcome to discuss the piston to wall clearances you used w/ the Wiseco's. If I go with Wiseco's, they will be coated so keep that in mind. For now I'm planned to have .003 clearance.

yes, go with Wisecos. Best out there for the money in my opinion. Try stan@ fastturbo for pricing. Tell him Wade referred you for maybe a small discount.

his hondatech name is Flamenco-T

Go with the Wisecos and follow the spec sheet that comes with them for clearances.

iirc, Wiseco's have a coating on them already right out of the box, correct? Something most other brands don't offer unless you pay more? I could be wrong.

It isnt some crazy calico like coating, but better than nothing?..

Thanks wade, anyone else?

Edit: Yeah, they do come with coated skirts, which I feel is ideal for boosting, especially for those occasional high, long loads of boost. Nothing special, but just enough to add security I guess.
