Default Out of Ideas

What are some other minor cost effective things I could do to my civic for appearance or motor wise, I've just kinda run out of things that I really wanted to do..I just don't wanna get bored with it ya know...I can't afford to boost it right now, or afford to do major things.. Thanks

Shift ****, sparkplug cover, different head, short shifter, shifter bushing, oil cap, radiator cap, oil pan, etc... Usually these things are between $50-200.

Many cosmetic things can be changed out, but why not save up for those bigger things

I dunno, I guess about the range of 50-200 bucks..those are some good ideas..but like the things under the hood, not really concerned with those..the things you mentioned don't really improve performance..or do they? I don't really know much..But I mean, how many times do you really lift your hood to show people...I didn't know you get a short shift, I thought it was already pretty close to the lowest you can get ..isn't it like 12:1 or something??

Performance wise, no. But you question asked about appearance items.

A Comptech short shifter will reduce your throw by 20%. Adding a heavier shift **** will decrease shift times.

Oh yeah, you could add some honda-tech and FG stickers. Reduces weight of your car for 5hp. Just kidding.

I don't know about a heavier **** decreasing shift times--it does make it smoother yes, but its also harder to get moving. I tried a Skunk 2 **** (which is right around a pound) in my EF and it was definatley slower than the aluminum s2000 **** that I prefer.

Sorry, no offense, but by your original explanation:

That was some easy stuff to come up with at a minimal cost. Have you gone here http://www.kingmotorsports.com to see what additional items they have besides boring out your motor?

I meant to say with the combo, your shifting is much easier and throw is shorter.

I'm here, I'm here. To the OP, you could also go with a Progress rear sway bar. About $150 and one of the best mods for the money. Also try a front underbrace.
