H&R sports
anyone know why my ground clearance is so low? I dropped my CRX on H&R sports and the iluminas which were already installed on the car and were in great condition. I do have a b16 and currently 14" steelies. I don't want to go back to coilovers and don't want stock height but currently I can't fit on the rollers at the CA ref (smog) and can't get my sticker until I pass. Any ideas?
I was thinking of getting some 16" wheels or maybe 15's.

Wheel size + tire size will change the difference, and how the speedometer is read too, it will be off, but not by much.
Your best bet is just to throw on some stockers to pass ref, it will be the cheaper route if you scrap yard them! Put the stock ones on, then when you pass, put your old ones back in. It takes 45 minutes to swap them all if you have a good jack and jack stands with air tools.

I am thinking 16's will make a 1" difference, 15's on 195 50 15's will be the same overall diameter I am at right now. My height just seems lower than the crx's I've seen posted here with h&r sports, I don't know what do you guys think?
I'm just scared I am going to rub like crazy with the 16x7's on 205 45 16's, ET +40. Any thoughts?

yeah I am starting to think the illuminas are not for the crx, maybe an accord, I've heard they lower more than the civic/crx. Either that or my bushings have gone to hell.
