great vid of the type R -- makes me hope my Si can do the same stuff

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgKct0KVQOw

The reason I post this is cuz I have an Si and my friend says the Type R is a completely diff animal... even though same top HP.

Lighter, diff gearing, diff suspension geometry :x

Your guys' thoughts?

well i explained why i put it in here. hopefully some of you will find it new and be inspired how to drive the Si too :X

On a previous thread ppl were saying the type R in europe and japan were about the same as the Si...just the type R badges.

I think there's more to it than that though :x

I believe theres more then that to it then just badges. I dont know much but I believe that when honda makes a type r they dont just give it badges to make it look good, its a type r for a reason.

but i think some people are under the impression that it's just a different name...for a different country like Fit/Jazz

Like...they don't have the Si in europe or japan do they?

And they've never had a Type R civic here I believe :x

Go to the heritage link on the flash page. It gives the history behind the R badge and why Honda distinguishes it from other models.
