You looking for all out race tire?
As in dedicated Race tire only, never gets used for anything else but racing?

or just a tire to mess around with in the rain at HPDEs, SCCA solos and prolly drive to an fro the good times?

I have had pretty good luck with Hankook Ventus RS2 street tires 200 treadwear. 205/45/16 on a K20 EG civic cpe. I need more traction so am stepping up to a 225 but I seem to do pretty darn well at HPDEs on this tires in the wet. I am going to Nitto Nt01s this year for dry traction.

For an all out race tire many go with an overpriced hoosier but I "think" most of the Honda Guys go with a full tread Toyo RA1

Hoosier dirt stockers, hands down. Don't expect to get too much use out of them though.

If I had the money I would be all over a set of Rain Hoosiers. 225/45/17 if I was a baller.. .

Others

Toyo RA1s at full tread are always a good option
Kumho Victoracers at full tread http://www.tirerack.com/tires/...+V700

All the above are all out race tires although the RA1s could be a street tire as well. I know the Victoracers and RA1s double as a Dry tire once they loose their treadblocks. I have no idea about the Hoosiers for Dry.. .

Bridgestone Potenza+RE-01R < Not an ALL out race tire but real close

I'm going to throw this tire out there although they have no 15" sizes yet, I know a guy that works for Bridgestone Firestone and actually tested these tires and he says they are a phenominal tire. Other than the Nitto Nt01, these are going to be a hot ticket this year.. . These are better than the Advan Neovas I think.. .
