Hello,

I'm on the hunt for a conversion kit, so that I may use a Hydrolic B-Series tranny with my H22, in my BB4 Chasis. I wanted to know if any fellow Prelude owners knew of any kits that might be available so that I can go through with this.

nope no kits.....it's been talked about and decided it's not worth all the custom work

get yourself an m2b4 with lsd and have it rebuilt with carbon coated syncros.....and get a 4.7 final drive......or if you search a thread was started recently checking the interest on a 5.2 final drive from mfactory i think

 

so you dont like the dash...you dont like the tranny....why dont you tell us what else you dont like and we can try to find you a car you can get in....rather than basterdize everything you can when you finnaly get this prelude

I love my Prelude, but, I was curious about the conversion, and didn't like the dash.

Stop whining. If the Prelude dash was so unique, and great, they would have continued it in the BB6. There is a reason why no other Honda produced has that style dash or cluster.

the conversion isnt possible yet.

do you know of any other honda that has electronic fuel gauges? or temp gauges? No.

Why didnt they continue it in the 5th gen? because its unique to the 4th gen...

How about you go ahead and make a conversion and find your own way to swap the dash in.

Other than that...Quit making these BULLSH!T threads and start searching!!!!!!!!!

It will take lots of custom work. I have thought to myself just to go outt there, and get to work. Honestly, I think the linkage will be the hardest past to fab up, fabbing a mount to fit the btranny doesnt seem it would not be as hard.

The dash swap is dumb IMO, but that's besides the point here.

I think a B16 tranny would be awfully nice in a Lude, but like everyone else has said there are no kits, it would all be custom to get it working.

No, I dont just start talkin without thinking...I might think without typing it though. I mean to put 96 and under with electronic fuel and temp gauges. And no other prelude is what i meant also...

Even with the S2K and the NEW Civic Si with the electronic gauges...the prelude still set the mark with them 15 years ago.

maybe if they would have continued it to the bb6 the prelude wouldn't not have been discontinued........when you make your sports car look like your civic......people stop buying

so they came out with the s2000.......surprise it's closer to the 4th gen
