The horn on my 89 CRX Si isn't working for me at all. When I had the car today, I pressed the horn button and the light on the dashboard came on for the door open/seatbelt, but the horn didn't honk at all. I took off the steering wheel to check things out, and just found the little brass tab underneath, and that's about all. Then when I tired to honk the horn again, I blew the fuse under the hood and saw a little spark from inside the steering wheel by the wheel nut, still with no honk. Anybody have any clue what is going on, or what I should do to get my horn working right? Thanks...
sounds like you have a short. try unpluging your horn and replace the fuse that blew. hit the horn button again and see if the door light problem goes away. if it does, you have a pinched wire or horn is shorting out inside.
