poll: good idea/ price or no ? ls vtec turbo
i got a chance to get a ls block b16a head with ctr piston and skunk cam. skunk chipped ecu all for 1200
compression is 10.8.5.. i have to run low boost

bad idea... i'm no fan of ls/vtec's because of the oil leak problems if not built properly plus IMO reliability will be much of a risk due to the fi. don't get me wrong though i know Ls/vtec frank motors can make power but i haven't seen one yet that lasted 100K miles... i'm more in favor of full vtec swaps.

Well, if you've seen pics of dxlst's hatch, you would know that he's probably not going for a half-assed built motor. I would say go for it. Tuning is key with a high compression, turbo motor...........
