Default Bent rim....will it work?

My brother who lives out in CA was nice enough to go pick up 4 VX rims with tires for me.

I've had three deals that fell through in the last couple of months, 2 guys decided to keep theirs and 1 guy flaked after I drove 4 hours to meet him.

They all look awesome aside from the crappy paint job.

Did notice a bend on the backside of one of the rims,

Let me know what you guys think. It still holds air, would it be OK to put on my car as-is?

make sure when you put new tires on they use a lot of tire glue on the bead on the bent side, I would recommend not bending it back the cast material likes to crack and break, you can maybe try with a plastic mallet but dont hit it too hard or it could crack. if it holds air just leave it as is

I mistyped before. They were HX rims and tires that I drove 4 hours for.

Had one hell of a deal with nearly new tires. Unfortunately it was 4 hours away but in my eyes it was still worth it.

i wouldnt have driven that far for those wheels.... and i would NEVER have bought them with that damage.

personally, i wouldnt use them on my car.... for peace of mind. it also looks like the tire is bulging at that edge too.

I live all the way out in Maine and there aren't really any good parts that I have found any closer than the Boston area.

I wouldn't use it. It will work, but it'll beat the hell out of your suspension. A wheel shop will be able to fix it, but it might not be worth it for a vx wheel. Did you try a junkyard? I know the one around here has a couple and they want 50 bucks a piece for them. Kinda pricey, but it's better than beating your suspension.
