Default High idle on f22b1!

Got a quick question, I already checked the FAQ and searched. I replaced my icv, and clean my iacv wiht carb cleaner. I think my TPS may be out cuase after I did all of that the car still idles at 2500 even when the car is warmed up.

Here are some ideas:

1. a stuck throttle cable or it's badly out of adjustment

2. a vacuum leak or air leak -- hoses off, bad gaskets -- need to do leak tests

3. defective cold idle air valve or idle air valve -- you have worked on these already. Unplug the electrical connection from the latter, and see what happens. Did you use good rubber gaskets?

4. bad throttle position sensor -- again, pull off the wire connector and see what happens -- this sensor is a main cause of up and down idle

5. defective MAP sensor -- a major cause of erratic idle

Have you carefully set the idle speed (IMPORTANT) and reset the computer (ALSO IMPORTANT)?

You might have to use the SEARCH mode on details.

"Been there!"

Good luck!
