radio not working on my 2005 civic si
my radio was working fine, then i installed my K&N short ram intake and right after i installed it, the radio didn't work. it was saying Eror, and code 1. i dont know what to do..?
Search next time please.
Every time you remove the negative terminal on the battery, the radio self-locks, as a safety feature to keep it from getting stolen.
Typical places to look for the code, would be in your glove compartment or within your manual's first page. It's typically a sticker.
If all else fails, you could pull the radio, get the part number, and take that to a local Honda dealership, and have them give you the unlock code.

don't let your dealship get anything more than a mininmal adminstrative fee out of you for this... also if you can't find the serial # for the radio, the dealship'll want to remove it... NO... just hold down 1 and 6 on the presets when you turn the radio on, presto S/N
