Try Goof Off, they sell it at Home Depot, it works good, and won't strip paint.

I've used goo-gone many many many times on car paint to remove adhesive and I've never had problems with it. How do you know it's actually stripping the paint? Has it already eaten through the clearcoat? If so then I would guess the stuff is defective and would recommend trying a different bottle from a different store. Goo-Gone itself will not harm car paint.

sorry i think the paint was like that before i applied it. i scrubbed the hell out of it with a rag and Goo-Gone and it finally all came off (also thanks to my Visa). but now it looks like somebody etched in an outline of "acura". thats why i thought it was stripping the paint

Detailers secret. Mineral spirits used in very small amounts...Takes off all kinds of BS, road tar, scrapes, etc. If you aren't good with common sense, and detailing don't try it.
