USDM Type-S header back? DC5-R header back?
whats the difference in the header all the way back to the muffler in a k20z1 from that of a dc5r? I heard somewhere its all the same except for the muffler is different some how. Also would it be worth the money to invest in a dc5r header back exhaust?

The bypass valve on the -R muffler is a spring-loaded flap that opens up from the "in" pipe and skips a baffle chamber completely. It works solely on exhaust pressure, and will open on its own if you floor the gas.
ITR header is a 4-2-1 design.
